Honda’s North American plants produced a total of more than one million vehicles in 2009, including those for export and currently in dealer inventory. “As part of our long-standing commitment to build Honda and Acura products close to our customers, we have steadily deepened our automobile manufacturing roots in the U.S. and the North America region,” said Tetsuo Iwamura, president & CEO of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “Using our flexible manufacturing capacity, we plan to continue to maintain our local production levels at approximately 80 percent of our annual sales.”
Honda seems to be making more and more appearances in North America due to its increase in production sales. Not only is Honda helping the American Economy by producing and selling more vehicles through the use of its North American plants but it is also able to cut out the cost of having them manufactured elsewhere.
Be sure to visit your local Miami dealership to see how you can benefit from driving a Honda. Choose from Honda’s long line of vehicles and see which one fits your style and personality.
