Honda Makes Cleaner Engines for the Future

Honda redesigns its CR-V model by giving it more fuel-efficient qualities such as a cleaner engine. The redesign of the 2010 model is linked with the 2.2 I DTEC diesel motor with an automatic transmission for the first time. The latest CR-V was restyled with a new bumper, modified grille, and ten-spoke ally wheels. The Executive version of the vehicle has the bumper and wheel arches painted in the vehicle color.

The 2.2 i-DTEC in the manual version has an output of 110 kW/150 hp with a fuel consumption listed at 6.5 liters per 100 kilometers which translates to a carbon dioxide emission figure of 171 grams per kilometer. Optionally the vehicle is available also with an automatic transmission. The 2.0-VTEC petrol-engine version has the same output with a consumption of 8.2 liters per 100 kilometers and a carbon dioxide emission of 190 g/km.
